edit design build studio

A remodeling firm in Minneapolis, Edit launched in 2009 with a self-made website. After 5 years of success, owners Zoe & Ryan made the move to a polished, professional, and modern-looking website that conveys the same high standards of design & function as their remodel work.

With an impressive inventory of vintage industrial light fixtures, Blubulb sought to generate a clear business identity, as well as a website through which these lights could be beautifully displayed and offered for sale. The name "blubulb," with its linguistic symmetry, was chosen as a reference to scarce and beautiful vintage blue Edison-style light bulbs. This website was developed through several revisions, adding responsive design elements, enhanced search engine optimization, and incorporating better, more concise code.

new scenic café

In business since 1999, the New Scenic Café has grown every year, consistently adding to its customer base and guiding the progression of cuisine in Duluth, Minnesota and beyond. This website features a modern, responsive design which honors the spirit of the Café and is centered around beautiful contextual photography. The revitalization of the website has been combined with updates to all aspects of marketing for the Café, creating a cohesive appearance for advertisements, packaging, and internal documentation.

rowdy river guides

Rowdy River Guides is located in Livingston, Montana. As a start-up, the owner wanted to establish a brand identity and get a website up-and-running quickly to attract clients. A logo that highlights both what the business offers, and where they are located, was incorporated into the website. The result is a simple site, with concise information that is easy to read and interpret quickly.

With a love of all types of architecture and the older craft of hand-drawn architectural renderings, Skip creates portraits of homes, cabins, and landscapes using pen and ink on watercolor paper. I have worked with Skip through several revisions of this website, striving to create a clean and user-friendly site which serves dual purposes of attracting clients and harboring a portfolio of his artwork. The design is minimal, placing as much emphasis as possible on the drawings themselves.
